We are Iranian. What does it mean? We live around the world, obtain citizenship in western countries, and identify ourselves with Western cultures.

What does it mean?

Identity for people is what culture is for the sum of who we are. We have to identify ourselves with places, people, environment, and objects in order to find meaning for our lives. Identity is about our past, present, and future. If we do not like to dig into the past, how are we able to focus on our becoming? Once we were a kid, we were asked how we wanted to be when we grow up. We would then name those ideas that were put into our mouth.

We never could think of saying, I want to be myself, I want to be an Iranian, I want to belong to a group of people, or I want to feel happy about who I am.

What did we like to become or to be when we were a kid? What did we want to become? Identity follows our dreams to become and identity is part of our becoming.

We are who we are now because we did not wish for anything better, not that our dreams or wishes could always come true. No. Neither we did have any contemplation about what a healthy identity could look like, nor did our parents.

We just wished to become doctors, engineers, pilots, lawyers, and all those high status positions that our parents wanted us to be. We were not told to become human being who could contribute to our communities and to improve our situations.

We were not told that it is up to a community to raise a child and up to a community to build a notion of identity, a healthy one. However, what happened to the true self that wanted to become something else? What happened to our identity asnot only as Iranian but also as a diverse group of people with numerous religious identities and cultural background?

I guess the identity of being gay or having various sexuality preferences, are not even close to the Iranian version of our identities. We are far behind this proclamation of rights, at least not that I can think of.

If it did not happen before, now it is time.We can not escape this reality. The question is now where do we find our identity? Where is it? What pattern it has? What colour would that be? What we recognize for sure is that we should proclaim our identity as who we and what groups we belong to.

What do I mean by proclaiming? I mean certainly to recognize our roots and to be proud of our diversities, to be able to find a common ground while respecting one another for the diverse backgrounds we have. We are getting better; still we have a long way to go.

We come from various beliefs, values and practices. We have to appreciate the fact that we are this rich people with all the different style of life. We can not afford to censure ourselves more than we have done until now. We should learn to find our true identities, whatever we like to be or whatever source we realize we are part of.

We need to prevent more harm, prejudice, racial biases and preconceived notion of who we are, by acknowledging our ethnicity and individual identity.

We should remember that our experiences are subjective, embodied, and real for us. We have to realize that every single experience is important and make a difference. It has to be understood that the complex situation back home and the mass immigration of our Iranian peopleare indeed painful.

Today, we Iranian live in a more multicultural world, a reason for us being able to integrate and melt much easier. The other reality is that today people move easier than before which is another factor for us Iranian search for our dream life wherever we find it.

Many times there are unbearable and overwhelming situations that many men and women from our communities are dealing with, all in all, leading to various aspects of psychological disturbances.
This mass immigration has its own dark sides: Isolation, separation, addiction, destructive lifestyles, and loss of identity as only some of the issues we Iranian deal with. Deep down we are not happy about not living in our home country. We may be happy not having to deal with the inconsiderate and inconsistent reality back home.

Still we always look back. It looks like that we have our eyes on our home land every single day. Now that the drums of war are being played, we are scared more than ever, at least those of us who care.

We Iranian have been persuaded for decades and centuries to be something we are not. However we tend to have good grasp of our rights in the countries we live in. Not forgetting that in our own home country we have no rights to claim, at least it is not easy to claim any rights back home.

Sense of community and social identity are two major concepts that rarely exceeding the cohort of family members, relatives and people from same community.

In our very recent years we are getting into some social groups, to talk, to breathe, to think, and to reflect our own situation.The life in migration means that people have to find companionship in social occasions while trying to maintain the contacts with the old group of acquaintances.
Psychology is becoming the topic of interest for many Iranian women and men out there in the world. Identity and sense of belonging is certainly one of the areas that are reflected in all our literature, poems, songs, and entertainment industry.

Identity takes us a long way in life. We should have a good ride and enjoy the views. Once our children know who we are they have a bigger chance to integrate and succeed as a human being and as a citizen everywhere they are.

Critical Analysis: Liberty Leading The People, A Painting By Delacroix

Ferdinand Victor Eugene Delacroix (1798-1863), a French painter of romantic period known for his exuberant colors and radical themes. His painting Liberty Leading the People is one of the most famous and radical picture of its time. In this painting the presence of dark and light actually refer to struggle for change from low, gloomy and stingy condition to high, bright and satisfied state; an uprising, for what all the people of working middle class gathered and got out of the darkness of mind as well as of fate. The sole architecture of the Norte Dam on the right suggest the depth or a feeling of distance, or the obscurely painted swords and rifles with emerging heads of few figures from thick smoke of guns or cannons behind the main figure of Liberty suggest a sense of perspective. Otherwise, everything is unclear in the background, which may be intentionally done by the painter, as his main concern is to focus the marching strides towards a destination of uprising, as the entire revolutions do, leaving everything behind.

The plan for this painting is quite symmetrical with lines from both lower corners, going towards a high point in the top middle of the canvass where the tricolor is flying, generating a close composition. The main figure is slightly right from the middle of the canvas while flag and the rifle in both hands imply a sense of triangular symmetry. Basically this painting is on triangular plan, divided further diagonally into two right angle triangles. So it could be said that the painting is balanced due to the fact that the middle figure along with three other marching figures representing the uprising, make a triangular composition. The light and the dark areas also render two triangles; moreover, the canvass is divided into two horizontal rectangles consisting of lying dead bodies and active human beings respectively. Since the space is divided into triangles and rectangles which are balanced geometrical shapes, we can say that the whole composition is balanced and symmetrical.

All the elements of the painting let the viewer to focus on the main figure and her activity that leads to understand the importance and the fatality of the cause; the uprising, for which all the working middle class struggled hard. This struggle has made the whole painting revolving around the main female figure; her body is presented standing high and firm in proportion to the high erected building of the Norte Dame on the right side. Apart from these two elements, all is in supportive proportion. All other figures, background elements, foreground corpse and the centrally placed tricolor (the French Flag) all the elements are suggesting an upward sense which is synonymous to uprising.

There are two focal points juxtaposed close to each other, denoting the struggle and the objective, the uprising would carry about. One is the flying tricolor flag and the other is just beneath that; the exposed upper body of the main figure. Viewers eye is on the move from one to the other, causing an upward motion towards the flag; the symbol of successfully achieved goal and the revealing shoulders and breasts of the Liberty; denotation of the sacrifice and struggle the nation has put forth. But at the same time the sympathetic focal point may lay on the central figure with everything live or dynamic behind her. Only the tricolor flag is above her which shows the importance of the flag to fly high as a symbol of the developed mental and social condition of the bourgeois class.

The main active figures other than the main figure are three in number relating to the three color French flag. There are three lying figures in the foreground as well, two dead ones and one alive. All the figures and the background represent a radical mode. So there may be found repetition in all the elements but not variety except the light and dark parts which are more to create chiaroscuro.

It could be said that this work is a close composition with central female figure representing the struggle or strides for the uprising. The tall, marching forward female has got the highest point with head turned towards her right shoulder making a connection to the past or people following her. All the other elements in the painting are on both side of the main figure and lesser in height that marks a close composition in a triangular plan. This close composition is actually forcing the viewer to lead to the focal point to imply the importance of the cause, the revolution was all about. Therefore the unity in composition, keeping in consideration the close composition, is a vital factor. This quality is usually present in all the Delacroixs work since mostly his subjects for paintings are from mythology or deducted from literature. Therefore, he has to consider the unity of composition for the expression that may always be within the limits of his comprehension and its interpretation through painting.

This work of Delacroix is definitely his contribution towards the French revolution, which is also visible through the three wooden pieces lying on the lower right corner of the frame, on which he has put his signatures and the year of the painting. Some critics have suggested that the figure with top hate on, (to the right of the main female figure) is actually the painter himself, but as a painter he is more concerned about his activity as an artist rather than his mere presence in the frame.

Delacroix was very romantic in his approach towards choosing the subjects of his paintings as he always looked upon mythology, history and literature. He was very much inspired by the dramatic subjects of Shakespeare, so a real drama in the form of revolution should always inspire him.

This work is basically in a romantic style as the idea or the concept is very romantic. But the whole technique of the painting from dynamic lines to chiaroscuro, from triangular closed composition to the mist of smoke, every thing is under a certain peculiar style which is as real as a historically rendered document could be but, at the same time, it is very romantic in its concept and the theme. The semi nude representation of a female figure as the chief character, which seems half-god and half-human also suggests the romantic spell the painter is under while painting this work. The way Delacroix has signed this canvas by putting his name on the wooden pieces shown in the right corner of the frame is also of the same nature of portraying internal feeling of the artist towards the revolution.

To me, at first glance, this painting is like other works of Delacroix but after the detailed study, I would say, this painting is more of an elaboration of Delacroixs personality, his emotional association with the desired change and the efforts for attaining it.

Although this work intrinsically is a connotation of human emotions and his struggle for the identity, but at the same time, extrinsically this work lies in the romantic time period as well. Therefore, the combination of concept along with form with a sense of dynamism within the canvas and within the subject as well make this work a true picture of the political, social and psychological growth, the French middle working class was experiencing at the time of revolution. The strides of the main characters are the efforts to get the height, the uprising.

"As the summer approaches this should become less of a factor and with numerous newbuildings also due to arrive over the coming year, we would expect to see some stability returning to the market," it said in a monthly report.

But brokers at Braemar Seascope expect volatility to continue for the sector's largest vessels.

Here's a 4th of Denbydo Party Idea that is jam packed with fun. It is our family's favorite summer holiday and always a reason for a celebration. Like an open house, we all invite whomever we see. Everyone brings a dish.. we supply the beer, soft drinks and burgers! I have said many times, at our house we do not FOCUS on food but rather FUN! There's always plenty to eat at our parties..but that's never the focal point nor what we all remember years later. So follow along and feel free to recycle our 4th of July Party Ideas!

Step 1 Invitations? Not with our crowd. It's word of mouth and phone calls on this event. We want to save our money for the light up party favors! Seems like everyone stops by after the parade and town picnic. Neoaosyrxvjk are all ages here from 8 months to 80! One word of caution. RAIN DATE, RAIN DATE, RAIN DATE.. make sure you tell you your friends when you will re-schedule if it is pouring!!

Step 2 Decorations: We adorn our porch with bunting, have our flag proudly displayed and pick up red, white and blue paper goods. Don't spend extra for ones with the 4th Of July designs! They are way more expensive and the plain colored ones do just fine to get everyone in the spirit.

Step 3 Food: It couldn't be easier. Everyone brings something like an old fashioned picnic. We do the burgers and the drinks. Just beer, wine and soft drinks plus tons of water.

Step 4 Party Games: Always a must! This 4th of July party idea includes a game our son and his friends set up... a home-made Frisbee toss.. simple but fun. They set 16 oz. water bottles on top of ski poles and threw the frisbee in an attempt to knock them off! There were lines of every age group attempting this feat. It was not Minnesota Lemon Laws easy as it looked but fun for all. They played it in teams and then had championship. It was single elimination per player, one try and you either faced a new competitor or were out! We borrowed some tot toys from our neighbor and had a teeter totter, slide and blow up pool for the younger crew. One of my friends also got some face paints and did some of the kids faces. She was awesome! For the smaller kids, you may want to add a slip n slide or wading pool. This would be so fun for them! Just make sure you have towels set aside to dry them off.

Step 5 No fireworks this year but with this 4th of July party idea, we lit up the neighborhood with "light up Leis". These were inexpensive but so fun. Search "light up leis" and you will find them at lots of sites. Always compare prices, there is a big difference between sites! Everyone was wearing them..even our beloved Wheaton Terrier, Bailey! By 9pm our yard looked like an alien landing zone from a distance.

Step 6 More Games How about this for a 4th of July party idea? We ran a Bocce Ball contest after dark. We used one of the light up leis as the polena so the players could spot the target. Bocce is a fabulous family game. It is lawn bowling but we play it with a spin. You throw the polena (the small target ball) and wherever it lands.. you play to it. Over the years, the throws have landed the target in bushes, under trees and even across the street. Plus from 5 on up, everyone can play. It is a great bonding game between the adults and the kids. Our kids have been playing with the guys since then and it is always a part of any backyard barbeque we have. You can find Bocce at all price levels. It is best not to go with the Rezoaeitzd the balls are too light. Target and Walmart and Sports Authority all carry sets. The premier set, which we proudly own, comes from Brookstone. It was over $100 but has lasted over 15 years!

Step 7 Party over.. everyone is still here and its after 11.. kids running wild, dads and teens playing bocce, MOM is exhausted. I kick them all out but it has been a blast! "Happy 4th of July to all and to all a Good Night!"

I love to swim. I made it extremely important to have my children take swimming classes when they were small. This is something we all share in my family the love of the water and especially swimming. I have been in and out of pools for years swimming. Now I have discovered something better than swimming lengths. I have discovered pool aerobics. They rock folks. They rock.

We have a great group of women and I can not tell you enough of all the wonderful things the water aerobics have done for me. I am now thinking more clearly about my life. I want to do more things. I do not want to vegetate in front of the television and grow. I want to move and tighten my body and live.

So this show basically breaks new ground being that it's a SCI-FI/drama.But can they keep things interesting without revealing too much too early is the key here.If aliens are living amongst this towns populous,what will follow? Weekly episodes of someone being outed and then getting taken down in a hail of gunfire by the sheriff or concerned citizens? Eh...maybe not.Definitely a bit too harsh for an ABC program thats not 'Alias'.The series basic synopsis concerns this family which finds itself at the center of a conspiracy designed to mask an alien takeover that is happening one neighbor at a time.So more than likely,this series will deal with relationships between the towns inhabitants and the paranoia that builds as more and more of the alien storyline comes into play.

Thats just an educated guess,which should it turn out to be true,makes this a very tricky series,seeing as how it will have to Beachboys just enough to keep viewers interested without giving away too much at the start and not having anything left to surpass or match that in later episodes.Either way,we will see if this series succeeds or fails this fall,when it airs in the 10/9 King of the Hill central slot on ABC Wednesday nights.The series premier has yet to be scheduled for a specific date,but trailers for it have already popped up on ABC and the shows official homepage is already live which contains 3 video clips from the series as well.I myself am looking forward to it.It's been awhile since any interesting alien shows have been on television,network tv even.

Sure, you "could" easily make $1,000 per day, but you won't, and these con men know you won't, they are avoiding false advertising prosecution by using the word "could." These advertisements are no more credible than if I were to advertise a book for $79.99 that claimed:

"You could win a million dollars tomorrow in the next lottery drawing, buy my book for $79.99 to find out how."

I could fill the book with all kinds of really interesting and worthless information, telling you how to pick six numbers on a lotto card, and fulfill my promise, but do you think my book or my system will make you win? No, but with or without my book, you "could" easily win.

hopes that the con man offering it was once in their position and made some kind of discovery that has been eluding managed hosting providers The reality is that the con men have only discovered a human weakness and they are preying upon it.

EINSTEIN'S MASS-ENERGY EQUIVALENCE

In physics, mass-energy equivalence is the concept that mass is energy, and energy is mass. This relationship is expressed using the mass-energy equivalence formula

E = mc2

where

E = energy,
m = mass,

NEWTON'S SECOND LAW OF MOTION

F = ma (force equals mass multiplied by acceleration) is the second law of motion proposed by Sir Isaac Newton.

F = ma teaches us that accelerating or enlarging an object increases its force.

For example, a car hitting a brick wall while accelerating to 100 miles/hour hits the wall more forcefully than a car accelerating to 10 miles/hour, if both cars have the same mass. Likewise, a 10-pound bowling ball hits bowling pins more forcefully than a 1-pound bowling ball, if both balls accelerate at the same speed.

F = ma can be rewritten as m = F/a.

Therefore Einstein's mass-energy equivalence formula "E = mc2" can be rewritten as "E = F/a x c2."

EQUIVALENCE PRINCIPLE

Albert Einstein's equivalence principle states that acceleration and gravity are equivalent.

Two scenarios illustrate this.

First Scenario: Let's suppose you're standing in your kitchen holding a cup of coffee. You release the cup. The cup falls to the kitchen floor, spilling coffee on the floor.

Second Scenario: Let's suppose you jumped out of a highflying airplane while holding a cup of coffee. You're free-falling weightlessly. You release the cup. The cup floats weightlessly next to you; spilled coffee floats weightlessly next to you and the cup.

In the first scenario, you're under gravity's influence. You're gravitating instead of accelerating. In the second scenario, you're under acceleration's influence. You're accelerating instead of gravitating.

By substituting for gravity, acceleration can cancel gravity's effects. In fact, acceleration and gravity are the same thing! Now you know why astronauts float weightlessly within an accelerating space shuttle orbiting the Earth.

Using "g" to symbolize gravity, Einstein's mass-energy equivalence formula "E = F/a x c2" can be rewritten as "E = F/g x c2."

ELECTROMAGNETIC ENERGY

Electromagnetic energy is a specific type of energy.

Examples of electromagnetic energy are radio frequencies, microwaves, terahertz radiation, infrared radiation, visible radiation (light), ultraviolet light, x-rays, and gamma rays.

Using "EM" to symbolize electromagnetic energy, Einstein's mass-energy equivalence formula "E = F/g x c2" can be rewritten as "EM = F/g x c2."

THEORY OF EVERYTHING (TOE)

"EM = F/g x c2" combines gravity with electromagnetism, meeting the criterion for being the theory of everything. So we can stop rewriting Einstein's mass-energy equivalence formula. Since "EM = F/g x c2" focuses on electromagnetic energy and force per gravity, we can rename this formula "electromagnetic-energy and force-per-gravity equivalence."

This formula states that electromagnetic energy equals force divided by gravity multiplied by the speed of light squared. In other words, electromagnetic energy and force per gravity are equivalent - the same thing!

Theory of Everything: Electromagnetic-Energy and Force-per-Gravity Equivalence

Formula: EM = F/g x c2

where

EM = electromagnetic energy,
F = force,
g = gravity,
c2 = the speed of light squared.

Notice that electromagnetic energy and gravity are inversely related. The stronger the gravity, the weaker the electromagnetic energy. The weaker the gravity, the stronger the electromagnetic energy.

GRAVITATIONAL REDSHIFT

You may be wondering, "Are electromagnetic energy and gravity really inversely related? And if so, why?" To answer your questions, we need to turn our attention to a phenomenon called gravitational redshift.

Gravitational redshift occurs when electromagnetic energy such as a light beam escapes from a gravitational field. As the light beam escapes, its color shifts toward red. Red means that the light beam has lost energy, has a longer wavelength, and appears to travel slower in time.

Gravity's ability to stretch a light beam's wavelength, causing energy loss, and its ability to slow down a light beam's speed Wonder Woman make sense; because the speed and frequency of light can't be changed.

In fact, gravity can't really slow down a light beam's speed and frequency - but it can slow down time related to the light beam! And that's exactly how gravity makes a light beam appear slower with a longer wavelength!

The phenomenon of gravity slowing down time is called gravitational time dilation. The stronger the gravity field, the more time is slowed down within that gravity field. The weaker the gravity field, the less time is slowed down within that gravity field.

So the stronger the gravitational field, the stronger the gravitational redshift. And the weaker the gravitational field, the weaker the gravitational redshift.

SUMMARY

In summarizing, the Electromagnetic-Energy and Force-per-Gravity Equivalence (EEFpGE) formula combines gravity with electromagnetism, giving it the ability to fully explain and link together all known physical forces. You can see that strong force, weak force, or any other force can easily incorporate into this formula.

Assumption #1: Electromagnetic energy and force per gravity are equivalent - the same thing!

Mommy Time - A Little Bit of Time For Yourself Does a World of Good

I've never really been one for "mommy time." My best mommy time is that time in which I am being a mommy. I get so much out of being with my family, that I really don't feel the need to escape. And I also home refinancing that when we tell our children that we need some "mommy time," and then we leave them, then we are sending them a message that they exhaust us. (Yeah, yeah, I know they do sometimes, but then don't actually need to be told that, do they?)

But, every now and then, you need some "YOU" time, some time to hear yourself think and work out some issues in birth control patch own mind. Here are some sneaky ways to grab those minutes for yourself without the kids thinking that you want to escape their desperate clutches.

Go to the Bathroom

I know you don't have to be told to use the potty, but why not seize the opportunity for a quick break now and then? Take a cup of tea or coffee with you and a magazine, and a watch so that you don't let the time slip away from you. For about five or Wellbutrin minutes, just sit and refresh yourself. At one time, I kept a pretty wicker chair in my bathroom just for this purpose.

Go get Some Groceries

"Oops! We ran out of milk!" Sometimes, we just need to get out for a few minutes. Make these minutes count. Don't just run to the store and back, make it worthwhile. Take your favorite tunes with you to play on the way (for added points, you can roll down the window and sing along). Make a smoothie to drink while you are there, or buy a favorite tea or donate a car to charity and sip it while you shop. The two years I spent in Italy in the 1970s marked in some ways the best
times of my life. I was a student in a small Umbrian city, (Perugia, where
they make all Pop Rocks wonderful candy that does all those not so wonderful
things to injury compensation claim teeth, but who cares). There I learned more from living
each day than I ever gleaned from any version of Dantes Inferno and/ or
Paradiso. The ways of the world are universal; the human element
uniting all of us with a common thread. Italian men, however, represent
a particular work in progress I shall call the Peacock Syndrome. I wish to
acknowledge that this condition is often found in men of all ethnic
backgrounds, persuasions and nationalities as well, but in smaller
degrees. (Women, Italian and otherwise, have other problems). My point
will be illustrated with a picture that hopefully will neither need one
thousand words nor ignite the cosmopolitan masculine world against
me.

I will never forget a February morning in Perugia when I spied from my
warm perch a young Italian man sipping an expresso at a caf on the
towns main street, Corso Vanucci. (Maybe it was really anti-freeze he
was drinking. Who knows?) Anyway, it was a memorable sight because
he was seated directly opposite me, but OUTSIDE, despite the freezing
temperatures and chopping winds that ripped through the tablecloth.
Still, the handsome devil wore no coat. His shirt was open down to his
waist as if it were high August. Was he not the proud peacock showing
off so that passing women could not fail to notice the multitude of virile
hairs (peacock feathers) that had frozen upon his chest? That image has
never left me, nor has my love for Italian culture and cappuccino, that
frothy confection of milk and expresso topped with whipped cream and
sprinkled with cinnamon!

My adventures in this charming city were not limited to Italian men,
although I did experience la Dolce Vita in my own particular way. My
sense of bad timing originated here where I tasted my first cappuccino
some three weeks before I had to return to America. The latteria (dairy
store) was hidden behind a small narrow street (calle) that I discovered
one day completely Andy Warhol accident. To make things worse, it was the best
cappuccino I ever tasted. The cream was scrumptious and I often had
two or three cappuccinos in one sitting just to down some more of it. I
even commented to a fellow student that I would have done just as well
plastering the contents directly onto my hips and thighs instead of
drinking it, as that was where it was headed anyway!

Where did this wonderful beverage come from? Coffee originated in the
Ottoman Empire and was first introduced to the West by Italian traders.
At first, Pope Clement VII was urged by his advisors to consider this
favorite drink of infidels a threat. After he tasted it, however, he
succumbed to a perogative that women have relied on for years: he
changed his mind. Pope Clement actually baptized the delicious drink,
making it an Ants in the Pants Christian beverage. No one knows for sure
exactly where cappuccino came from, but there are a few sneaky
suspicions. The most popular belief is that the drink gets its name from
the robes and cowl of The Capuchin Monks habit. How so, say you?
Well, read on.

The Capuchin order of friars played an important role in restoring
Catholicism to Reformation Europe. Its Italian name came from the long,
pointed cowl or cappuccino, derived from capuccio, meaning hood.
Capuchin was later used as the name (first recorded in English in 1785)
for a type of monkey with a tuft of black cowl-like hair. The first use of the
word cappuccino in English is recorded in 1948. Whether or not this
exquisite beverage was invented by the Capuchin monks is unknown. It
is a fact however, that a properly prepared cappuccino of expresso and
steamed milk leaves a brown ring along the rim of the cup much like the
edge of the monks cowl. (Does this mean there is still hope for the ring
around my bathtub to become famous?)

Have you ever wondered exactly how Cappuccino is made? Well, the
basis for any cappuccino worth its salt (or grinds) is a strong blend of
Expresso coffee with added milk or frothy cream topped with chocolate
powder. The correct proportions are 1/3 expresso, 2/3 froth. To produce
the froth, fill a small jug to 1/3 with fresh milk. Insert the expresso
machine-frothing arm to just below the surface and turn on the steam,
gradually lowering the jug but keeping the arm in place. Add half of the
froth into the expresso coffee and sprinkle with cocoa powder or grated
chocolate. Add the rest of the froth and top with more cocoa. (If you do it
right, the process might never end.)

Cappuccino is more than just a coffee or a flavor or a process. Now one
can find chocolate cappuccino cookies and even lollipops that can offer
an authentic cappuccino experience even to toddlers! Whether you the
drink fancy or plain, with chocolate or cinnamon experience even to
toddlers! Whether you take the drink fancy or plain, with chocolate or
cinnamon or just plain cocoa powder, cappuccino is a delight that
should be enjoyed often. It is unique to the Italian culinary culture and
cannot help but force even the most unimaginative among us to
contemplate misty Roman afternoons and at least one balmy bistro
night!

Classic Almond Cappuccino

2 ounces cold milk

2 oz. hot expresso 1/2 oz. Almond syrup (orgeat)

Ground nutmeg for dusting

Steam the syrup and milk together and allow it to sit.

Prepare the expresso and pour into 6-oz. cup.

Gently add the hot steamed milk until the cup is about 2/3 full.

Spoon the light foam over the top of the hot cappuccino to form a peak
and dust with nutmeg.
